Job Description An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Planning Solicitor (NQ-5 PQE) to join a highly regarded and specialist Planning, Environmental, Energy and Regulatory team in Chester. This is a great opportunity for a solicitor looking to work on complex and high-value planning and development matters, advising an impressive client base including developers, landowners, businesses, high-net-worth individuals and public sector organisations. You'll work directly alongside experienced Partners, gaining early exposure to high-quality work and client relationships while building your own caseload. Planning applications, appeals and objections Planning enforcement, prosecutions and Certificates of Lawfulness Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) matters Advising across both contentious and non-contentious planning matters Experience in planning law, ideally covering both contentious and non-contentious matters Keen to develop within a specialist planning practice Environmental, energy or regulatory experience would be advantageous If you're a Planning Solicitor looking for high-quality, complex work, direct Partner exposure and genuine career development, this could be an excellent next step.
