We are currently working with a leading Legal 500 firm in Reading that is looking for a talented Charities Lawyer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Charities lawyer or a lawyer with experience in Private Client and Trust work to become part of a supportive team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a set of client cases, ensuring they are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Process client matters in a timely manner, keeping costs under control.
  • Uphold the firm's professional standards and meet quality expectations.
  • Keep clients well-informed about the range of services available at the firm.
  • Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including networking and promoting services.
  • Ensure clients' needs are met with excellent service and attention to detail.

The successful candidate:

  • 0-3 years' PQE, but open to candidates with more experience if they meet the role's needs.
  • Experience advising on setting up charities, mergers, and partnerships.
  • Able to advise senior teams, boards, and trustees, with support when needed.
  • Comfortable training clients and speaking at events.
  • Skilled in drafting and reviewing contracts, including fundraising and grant agreements, and offering advice on Charity Law.
  • Eager to get involved in networking and business growth.
  • Driven to help grow the practice area and take on a key role within the firm.
