We are currently working with a leading national law firm with a strong reputation in Court of Protection work, which is looking to appoint a Solicitor for a 12-month fixed-term contract in its Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded specialist department supporting vulnerable clients and working on meaningful, high-impact cases.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied Court of Protection caseload and support individuals who lack mental capacity.
- Assist with financial and welfare decision-making, including deputyship matters, statutory applications, and ongoing case management.
- Provide clear, empathetic, and practical advice to clients and families.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive specialist team.
- Commit to delivering high-quality client care in sensitive matters.
Qualifications
- Experience in Court of Protection (Property & Affairs essential).
