We are currently working with a well-established law firm on the Wirral that is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide locum support within its Conveyancing and Private Client departments.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary looking for a varied assignment, predominantly supporting Conveyancing matters, with additional involvement in Probate, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney work.
The Role:
- Providing secretarial and administrative support to fee earners
- Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
- Managing diaries, appointments and client communications
- Preparing conveyancing documentation and assisting with transactions
- Supporting Probate, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney matters
- Opening and closing files and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting the team to ensure matters progress efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Residential Conveyancing
- Experience supporting Private Client matters, including Probate, Wills and Powers of Attorney
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload
