The successful candidate will play a key role in both the continued growth of the Family Law team and the wider development of the office, combining fee-earning responsibilities with leadership, mentoring, and strategic involvement. The Opportunity You'll join a successful and collaborative Family Law team, handling a high-quality caseload of private family matters while taking on a visible leadership role within the practice. Your responsibilities are likely to include: Managing your own caseload of complex private family law matters Advising clients on divorce, financial remedy, cohabitation, and private children matters Leading and supporting a team of lawyers and support staff Acting as a mentor and developing junior members of the department Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, referrers, and professional contacts Driving business development initiatives and identifying opportunities for growth Supporting the strategic development and performance of the office Meeting fee targets while maintaining exceptional client care standards Contributing to recruitment, retention, and team development Working closely with senior management on the future direction of the practice Maintaining the firm's excellent reputation for quality and client service This is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking and successful firm where senior lawyers are given genuine autonomy, support, and the platform to make a real impact.
