We’re working with a highly regarded regional law firm looking to recruit an Employment Paralegal to join its busy and growing Employment team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal looking to develop their career within employment law, supporting employer clients on a broad range of non-contentious employment and HR advisory matters.
You’ll work alongside experienced employment lawyers while gaining exposure to high-quality work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
You’ll be supporting matters including
- Drafting employment contracts, staff handbooks and workplace policies
- Preparing consultancy agreements and employment documentation
- Supporting HR advisory work, including disciplinary, grievance and performance management matters
- Employment law compliance and documentation audits
- Legal research and keeping up to date with changes in employment legislation
- Managing your own caseload of lower-risk advisory matters with appropriate supervision
What could make you stand out?
- Previous experience within Employment Law, ideally supporting employer clients.
- Experience drafting employment documentation and HR-related policies is advantageous.
- A strong interest in non-contentious employment law and HR advisory work.
- Excellent organisational, communication and client care skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities.
