A highly regarded and well-established law firm is seeking a Commercial Property Paralegal to join its successful Real Estate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with an interest in commercial property to develop their career within a respected and supportive legal environment. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced fee earners, providing valuable assistance across a busy and varied caseload.
The Role
- Providing support to one or more commercial property fee earners
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of commercial property matters
- Amending, preparing and collating correspondence and legal documents
- Communicating with clients, third parties and colleagues by email, telephone and in person
- Assisting with administrative and organisational aspects of property transactions
- Carrying out data inputting and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting with client onboarding, including anti-money laundering and client due diligence procedures
- Providing wider support to the Real Estate team as required
The Ideal Candidate
- Have a law degree or previous experience working within a commercial property environment
- Have excellent organisational and IT skills
- Be confident supporting one or multiple fee earners
- Have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Be confident communicating with clients, colleagues and third parties
- Have experience preparing and amending correspondence and documents
- Ideally have knowledge of anti-money laundering and client due diligence procedures
- Be numerically confident and comfortable working with data
- Be proactive, reliable and keen to develop their career within commercial property
