Sellick Partnership is partnered with a growing UK business to recruit an experienced Interim Commercial Litigation Lawyer into its in-house Legal team in Nottingham.
/n
/n
This is an immediate opportunity for a solicitor with 5+ PQE and strong commercial litigation and broader commercial legal experience, who can hit the ground running and take ownership of a varied legal workload from day one.
/n
/n
The role covers a mix of commercial contracts, contentious matters, compliance, and general advisory work, alongside supporting private commercial and litigation matters for business owners. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders and external legal advisers, with a high level of autonomy from the outset.

The Role
/n
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing practical legal advice across a broad range of commercial and contentious matters.
/n
The role will also involve supporting on sensitive private commercial and litigation matters alongside external counsel, giving the successful candidate exposure to a varied and interesting caseload.
/n
/n
Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Advise on commercial litigation, disputes and contentious matters.
/n
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and NDAs.
/n
- Advise on subcontractor and client agreements.
/n
- Support with compliance and general commercial legal matters.
/n
- Assist with litigation and private commercial matters alongside external counsel.
/n
- Manage a varied caseload and provide day-to-day legal advice to the business.
/n
/n
/n
About You
/n
/n
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years' PQE.
/n
- Strong commercial litigation and contentious experience.
/n
- Good commercial contracts experience.
/n
- Private practice or in-house background considered.
/n
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running.
/n
- Strong drafting and stakeholder management skills.
/n
- Available to start at short notice.
/n
- Able to commute to Nottinghamshire on a hybrid basis.
/n
