Overview of the Wills & Probate Solicitor role

We are currently working with a friendly and established Private Client team in Stourport who are looking to appoint an experienced Wills & Probate Solicitor.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys building strong relationships with clients and providing a high-quality, personal service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage a varied private client caseload within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities of the Wills & Probate Solicitor will include

• Managing a varied caseload across Wills & Probate and Private Client work
• Advising clients on Wills and estate planning
• Handling probate and estate administration matters
• Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Dealing with Court of Protection matters
• Advising on trusts and Inheritance Tax planning
• Advising executors and beneficiaries
• Supporting clients with estate and succession planning
• Managing your own caseload effectively
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Providing clear, practical and compassionate advice to clients

Required experience/qualifications of the Wills & Probate Solicitor position will include

• Qualified Solicitor with relevant Wills & Probate experience
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage your own caseload independently
• Commercially aware and practical approach
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• A compassionate and approachable manner when dealing with clients
• Ability to contribute positively as an active and valued member of the team
