Senior Childcare Lawyer
Salary: up to £53,191 p/a PLUS market supplement of £3000
Full-time (part-time hours will also be considered)

This is a fantastic role for an experienced childcare lawyer to continue their career within a high-performing and supportive team where a healthy work/life balance is actively encouraged. Furthermore, it offers the unique opportunity to work on a fully remote basis. As a Senior Childcare Lawyer, you will have the chance to develop your people management skills through duties including mentoring and supervising junior members of the team.
Responsibilities of the Senior Childcare Lawyer will include:
- Managing a caseload of child care proceedings
- Delivering expert legal advice to client services
- The potential to undertake advocacy if desired
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Key requirements of the Senior Childcare Lawyer will include:
- You will need to be an enthusiastic Solicitor, Barrister or FILEX (with litigation rights) and with experience of working in public law childcare work
- Knowledge of relevant policies, regulations and legislation
- Proven ability to work under pressure whilst managing competing demands
- Excellent interpersonal, persuasion and negotiation skills
