Role Summary

Principal Lawyer – Children and Adults

Our Local Authority client is seeking the support of an experienced Principal Lawyer to lead their children and adult legal teams during a period of change and transformation.

This role is pivotal in the safeguarding of some of the most vulnerable in the community.

The role will see the appointed applicant foster a culture of high performance, professionalism and accountability and through strong leadership borne from a deep legal expertise, will enable and support team members to navigate complex and high‑profile cases.

The primary specialism of the Principal Lawyer will be in childcare law; however, a working knowledge of adult social care is also required.

We are seeking a qualified Lawyer with extensive management experience.

This is a hybrid working role with weekly office attendance required.
