An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Solicitor to join a highly regarded specialist team handling complex and high-value planning and development matters. This role offers exposure to quality work for developers, landowners, businesses, and public sector clients within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will advise on a broad range of planning matters, including:
- Planning applications, appeals, and objections
- Section 106 and highways agreements
- Judicial Review and High Court challenges
- Enforcement and lawlessness matters
- Compulsory Purchase Orders and public rights of way
- Biodiversity Net Gain and CIL matters
You will work closely with experienced senior lawyers while also managing your own caseload and building strong client relationships.
About You
- Newly Qualified Solicitor up to 5 years' PQE
- Experience in planning law across contentious and non-contentious matters
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach
- Able to manage multiple matters effectively and work to deadlines
- Interest in developing within a specialist planning practice
