An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Solicitor to join a highly regarded specialist team handling complex and high-value planning and development matters. This role offers exposure to quality work for developers, landowners, businesses, and public sector clients within a supportive and collaborative environment.

You will advise on a broad range of planning matters, including:

  • Planning applications, appeals, and objections
  • Section 106 and highways agreements
  • Judicial Review and High Court challenges
  • Enforcement and lawlessness matters
  • Compulsory Purchase Orders and public rights of way
  • Biodiversity Net Gain and CIL matters

You will work closely with experienced senior lawyers while also managing your own caseload and building strong client relationships.

About You

  • Newly Qualified Solicitor up to 5 years' PQE
  • Experience in planning law across contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach
  • Able to manage multiple matters effectively and work to deadlines
  • Interest in developing within a specialist planning practice
