Sellick Partnership are excited to be working with a well-respected London Borough Council to recruit a locum Adults and Education Lawyer. Our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Adults and Education Lawyer to join their friendly and supportive team.
The main duties of the role will include advising on education and SEN matters from the beginning, holding a caseload of tribunal cases, drafting and submitting case responses. The client is happy to consider Education Lawyer candidates from a private practice background with strong SEN experience; however, previous local authority experience is highly advantageous. Our client is ideally looking for a candidate who also has experience of handling an adult social care caseload: Court of Protection matters, DoLs, NRPF etc. If experience is not held in both adult social care and education, our client will consider either/or.
This position is a full-time role and the successful Adults and Education Lawyer will need to be able to attend the office in London once or twice a week.
