A forward thinking quasi-public sector organisation is seeking an experienced lawyer to join them as interim Head of Legal. The post is expected to be for a minimum of 6 months, with a view to extend, and with the opportunity to lead to a permanent position.
The successful interim Head of Legal will be joining a large, dynamic organisation, leading an excellent team of lawyers. The team deals with a huge range of exciting projects for the Newcastle region.
Our client is seeking an experienced lawyer, with significant management experience, and ideally a background in commercial contracts and major projects; however, the team also deals with other areas of law, such as property, litigation and employment. They are open to applicants from all sectors.
The interim Head of Legal will have 3-4 direct reports and will manage and nurture the team through a period of exciting transformation and expansion. The interim Head of Legal will also be expected to advise at governance meetings.
This is a hybrid role, with office attendance required 2-3 days a week. The modern offices are based in the heart of Newcastle, with stunning views and state-of-the-art technology.
