Β£50 β Β£55 per hour umbrella
A well-regarded London Borough Council is seeking a Housing Disrepair lawyer to join them on a locum basis, to start as soon as possible. The Housing Disrepair Lawyer will be required to handle a full caseload, including complex matters with minimal or no supervision.
This locum assignment is for a minimum of 3 months, with the view to extend further. They are operating a hybrid working model, with office attendance one day per week.
The successful Housing Disrepair Lawyer will be joining a welcoming team within a thriving local authority. This role will bring challenge, opportunity and is highly rewarding.
Duties will include:
- Housing Disrepair Caseload (all stages of pre-litigation/litigation)
- Prepare and process cases and legal documents in the area of disrepair for Housing and Litigation
- Provide responsive advice on the management of risk on legal issues
- To work within the Legal Housing team to provide accurate, comprehensive and proactive legal advice to internal and external clients within the legal specialism of disrepair decisions and case work
