My client, a leading national law firm, are looking to add a Property Litigation Solicitor to join its highly regarded team in Southampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or junior solicitor looking to develop their career within a well-established property litigation practice, working alongside experienced lawyers and acting for a broad and interesting client base.

You will manage your own caseload of property litigation matters, acting for a diverse range of clients including:

• Property developers
• Retail chains
• Commercial property owners
• Property agents
• Residential landlords
• Private individuals

You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other members of the team on larger and more complex matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own caseload of property litigation files.
• Advising clients on legal procedures and a wide range of associated property litigation issues.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues on larger matters.
• Supporting marketing and business development activities where appropriate.
• Carrying out duties and instructions from partners and colleagues diligently and effectively.
• Keeping fully up to date with relevant developments and changes in the law.

• Qualified lawyer or solicitor/about to qualify shortly
• Experience in, or exposure to, property litigation during your training contract.
• A client-focused and commercial approach.
• The ability to manage your own workload and caseload effectively.
