A well-regarded local authority in London is seeking a Prosecutions Lawyer to join their Criminal Litigation team on a locum basis. This is a hybrid role that will require occasional office and court attendance as needed in London.
The successful Prosecutions Lawyer must have previously worked in Local Government and be able to independently advise on a range of criminal litigation matters. This position also requires the candidate to be a Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX qualified.
Cases include:
- Trading standards
- Parking
- Littering
- Fraud
The Prosecutions Lawyer will also be required to advise at licensing sub-committees, so experience doing this will be advantageous.
