About the Contracts Lawyer Role:
Sellick Partnership are proud to be working with a fantastic and expanding public sector organisation in the South East who are looking to recruit a part-time locum contracts lawyer on an initial 6-month basis with the strong likelihood of extension.
Key Responsibilities of the Contracts Lawyer role:
We are looking for 3+ years’ recent experience dealing with the following matters:
- Advising on procurement and contract law and procedure
- Drafting/amending draft contracts
- Advising on JCT contracts
- Advising on and drafting grant agreements
- Advising on and recommending amendments to Contract Procedure Rules
- Commenting on reports
- Working with our Procurement Officer and relevant client service area lead officers
- Developing templates and implementing good practices throughout the Council on Procurement and Contracts
The role will be a hybrid working arrangement.
