Sellick Partnership is currently partnered with a leading national law firm who are looking for an experienced Corporate Knowledge Lawyer to join their growing Corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Corporate solicitor who is passionate about knowledge management, legal innovation and technology, and is looking to play a key role in supporting lawyers and enhancing client service.
Working alongside an established Knowledge team, you will provide technical legal support, manage know-how and precedents, deliver training and contribute to innovation across the Corporate practice. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across Corporate, Knowledge, Business Development, Technology and Digital teams to drive the development and delivery of innovative legal services.
Key responsibilities of the Corporate Knowledge Lawyer will include:
- Developing, maintaining and enhancing corporate precedents, know-how resources and automated document suites
- Providing technical legal support and guidance to lawyers across the Corporate team
- Delivering legal updates, training sessions and thought leadership content to colleagues and clients
- Capturing and analysing know-how from transactions to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Championing the use of legal technology, document automation and AI across the Corporate practice
- Collaborating with Knowledge, Technology and Digital teams on innovation projects
- Supporting business development activities, pitches, tenders and client-facing materials
- Researching legal, policy and market developments to identify opportunities for new and enhanced client services
- Supporting the wider Corporate team in delivering consistently high-quality client service
Required experience/qualifications of the Corporate Knowledge Lawyer position will include:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with significant experience within a high-performing Corporate practice
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate law alongside excellent commercial awareness
- Genuine interest in knowledge management, legal innovation and AI
- Experience using legal technology and/or document automation tools
- Excellent legal research, drafting and communication skills
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively across teams
- Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge, developing others and supporting continuous improvement
