Construction Solicitor

A leading Top 100 UK law firm is looking to appoint a Construction Solicitor to join its highly successful and well-regarded Construction team in

Birmingham .

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with

0-4 years' PQE to join a highly experienced team and gain exposure to a broad range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters .

  • Role
  • Advising employers, contractors, subcontractors, construction professionals and other key stakeholders.
  • Working across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters .
  • Advising on dispute avoidance, adjudications, litigation, arbitration, mediation and other forms of ADR.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction and engineering contracts.
  • Advising on professional appointments, warranties, bonds, guarantees and other project documentation.
  • Working on projects across sectors including development, infrastructure, housebuilding, healthcare, education, retail and leisure.
  • Attending client meetings and negotiations.
  • Building and developing strong client relationships.
  • Supporting senior lawyers on complex matters and taking increasing responsibility as your experience develops.

They're looking for a qualified solicitor with previous Construction experience and exposure to a broad range of matters.

You'll also need excellent communication skills, strong organisation and time management, good attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The salary is

£50,000-£62,000 , depending on experience and PQE.
