Sellick Partnership are working with a leading education organisation who are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join their central finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified finance professional to support effective financial management across the organisation.
Working closely with senior finance colleagues and budget holders, the successful candidate will provide accurate financial information, support effective budget management and help ensure resources are used efficiently.
The responsibilities of the Senior Finance Officer will be:
- Supporting budget monitoring and providing financial information to budget holders and senior management.
- Assisting with the annual budget setting and year-end accounts processes.
- Monitoring income and expenditure to ensure financial activity is accurately recorded and managed.
- Supporting procurement activity, payroll monitoring and Special Educational Needs budget management.
- Providing operational support to the wider finance team.
