Role: Principal Accountant (Housing Revenue Account - HRA) Location: London Borough (Hybrid) Rate: £450 - £550 per day (Inside IR35) Duration: 6 months (with view to extend) An experienced Principal HRA Accountant is urgently required to lead the housing finance team for a progressive London Borough. Key Responsibilities Budget Management: Deliver the annual HRA budget setting and medium-term financial strategy. Closing of Accounts: Lead the year-end capital and revenue closure for the housing service. Financial Modeling: Maintain and update the 30-year HRA business plan. Strategic Advisory: Provide robust financial advice to senior stakeholders and directors. Candidate Requirements Local Government Expertise: Proven track record in UK municipal housing finance.
