As part of our growth strategy, we are looking to appoint an Assistant Project Programmer based in London. You will support the Programme Controls Lead by driving programming and planning functions, and assist the project management team in preparing, interpreting, and presenting project schedules. Your role will enhance collaboration and efficiency through technical support on programming issues and refining project briefs from inception to completion.

Your core duties will include:

1. Supporting the project management team in coordination of design process programmes, change management, and project oversight.
2. Providing programming support on resource and cash flow management.
3. Attending meetings with clients and stakeholders, preparing records or minutes, and updating project programmes accordingly.
4. Assisting in preparing and issuing reports, especially formatted project programmes to meet client requirements.

Note: You must be willing and able to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance, which can take several months.

About You

To be considered, you should:

• Have experience in a relevant construction industry position.
• Possess working knowledge of MS Project and Primavera P6, with a desire to develop expertise in these tools.

Desirable qualifications include:

• Knowledge of Asta.
• Construction-related degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Interest in progressing to full membership in a professional body like RICS or CIOB.
