  • Travel occasionally for site work (commissioning, modifications); SCATS training provided as required.

  • Ensure strict compliance with quality assurance procedures and safety regulations (including IEC 61511 where applicable).

  • Coordinate across engineering disciplines, suppliers, and partners to ensure project success.

  • Create and review both internal and client‑facing technical documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

  • HNC or BEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or related discipline).

  • Previous experience in a control and instrumentation systems environment is highly desirable.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD LT is advantageous.

  • Strong understanding of electrical drawings: General Arrangements (GA), Wiring Schematics, and Termination Diagrams.

  • Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA systems including programming, testing, and fault diagnosis.

  • Desirable: Understanding of IEC 61511 and principles of functional safety.

Personal Attributes

  • Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills and a results‑driven mindset.

  • Excellent time management and workload prioritisation.

  • Eagerness for continuous learning and professional development.

  • Comfortable working both independently and within cross‑functional teams.

  • Flexible and responsive to changing customer demands.

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
