Our Personal Shopping team provide a bespoke service to customers from all over the world. Our products are exceptional, and so is the service that accompanies them. As a member of the front of house team, and a subject matter expert of all things Selfridges, you will provide the first opportunity to deliver the best service to clients visiting the department.
As a Personal Shopping Receptionist You Will:
- Greet clients in a polite and friendly manner
- Actively listen to clients and respond to their enquiries
- Direct clients to the lounge and inform relevant colleague to assist
- Offer/prepare beverages for the clients
- Answer calls and deal with all client enquiries in a polite and professional manner
- Book appointments on the relevant system following the correct procedures
- Inform relevant colleagues regarding appointment booking/cancellations following the department’s procedure
- Complete all Front Desk admin tasks in a timely manner, including Sales Tracker and CRM
- Check/respond to department’s emails throughout the day
- Check all What’s App groups throughout the day and take relevant action
- Contact alterations department upon request
- Check courier/driver availability and book client deliveries
- Request client transfers if needed
- Respond to any shop floor/brand enquiries and involve the relevant colleagues when needed
- Communicate effectively all tasks/enquiries to the relevant colleagues and duty manager
- Ensure BOH kitchen is fully replenished throughout the day
- Ensure bathroom amenities are replenished
- Check lounge is consistently tidy throughout the day
- Report any maintenance issues to line Manager
A Bit About You:
- Ensure you comply with the Selfridges Values
- Assist colleagues during busy periods with all tasks at hand
- Help with clearing rooms following appointments when necessary
- Communicate effectively when leaving the desk and ask for cover
- Support line/duty manager with tasks
- Be punctual and follow correct procedure for lateness and sickness
- Assist with EOD cashing up and take cash bag to Cash Office
- Adapt schedule according to the business’ needs
- Possess a positive attitude towards business changes
- Work outside FOH responsibilities when needed to contribute further towards the business’ success
