As a Personal Shopping Consultant, you will deliver an extraordinary customer experience while meeting sales and profit targets. Developing a client engagement strategy whilst working cross-functionally to execute this to the highest standard.
In this role you will:
- Nurture and develop relationships to generate new business with a focus on international, high potential and high net worth clients.
- Recognise potential events either in store or offsite to further our client base and pro-actively approach individuals and corporations.
- Generate ideas and implement plans to develop business opportunities and drive productivity, sales and profit across own bought and concession businesses.
- Demonstrate a commercial mindset and outlook to stay responsive to customer needs, sharing inspiration and developing a commercial mindset in immediate & wider team.
- Monitor customer service satisfaction and spend, suggesting improvements where necessary and keeping us ahead of our competitors.
- Partner with key stakeholders at store events and through other commercial opportunities (CNY, Eid, Christmas, Football pop-ups).
- Act as an ambassador for Selfridges Personal Shopping both internally and externally by representing our brand in public/store events to promote our products and services.
- Follow health and safety and security procedures.
- Positively interact with potential and existing clients, answering queries and providing guidance on our services, enabling customers to choose the most suitable option for them, whether that’s Personal Shopping, Elfridges or a Stylist appointment.
- Continue to deliver our unique service by maintaining customer care, responding to client enquiries, booking and following up on deliveries and client alterations.
- Be responsible for prepping the client rooms, maintaining housekeeping standards, returning stock from previous consultations and laying out product options for the next client, to having refreshments ready for their arrival.
- Work confidently and collaboratively with various departments, striving to deliver exceptional service and standards.
- Stay ahead of the latest trends by taking every opportunity to expand your product knowledge and being aware of competitor activity.
