The Visual Merchandiser 40 Duke is a crucial new role in achieving this vision, and positioning our brand through impeccable visual merchandising and presentation standards.
As a Visual Merchandiser 40 Duke, you will support the Senior VM 40 Duke within our Personal Shopping destination. Appreciating the importance of attention to detail, you will support delivery of exciting brand installations and product display for our VSP customers.
As Visual Merchandiser 40 Duke London, you will:
- Perform standard walks each morning to check and maintain basic recovery standards and make sure that actions are carried out prior to store opening.
- Deliver exceptional product handling and creative solutions at all times.
- Be proactively involved in implementing brand installations within 40 Duke Street, working within a close-knit, cross-functional team.
- Manage the 40 Duke Street VM calendar to ensure team visibility is continually up to date.
- Manage and maintain the use of the VM kit and storage area to ensure perfect condition of kit and prevent damages.
- Work closely with key contacts in Buying & Merchandising, Retail Operations and Events team in order to maximise sales potential, as well as building on their understanding of standards and maintenance.
- Maintain great communication and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of all projects.
- Ensure all vinyl signage and branding is kept up to date; including ordering, installation and delivering consistent standards.
- Comply with Health & Safety standards, policies and procedures, demonstrating excellent standards in regards to your tools, equipment and environment.
- Regularly perform comparative 'shops' of new and inspirational places to maintain an understanding and awareness of competition, direction and key brands.
Experience
- Proven experience in balancing commercial focus with creative integrity.

- Creative. With a background in Art as an advantage, you are passionate about design and visual displays, with an understanding of their importance in a premium retail environment.
- Strong product handling experience, a good understanding of our brand mix, as well as brand adjacencies.
- Have a strong eye for detail ensuring delivery of exceptional work.
- Knowledge of designers, brands, trends and competitors. You will be up to date with trends and constantly looking for opportunities for this to inspire your work.
