The Group People strategy focuses on Executive Talent, team member Engagement, and a framework for Reward, working closely with local teams across Europe. Reporting to the Group People Director, the Group Senior People Manager leads leadership and talent strategies, sets and monitors engagement frameworks, and acts as HR Business Partner to Group Senior Leaders, including the Group CEO and CFO.

  • Leadership Development & Talent
    • Identify and develop a Group-wide talent pool for future executives.
    • Collaborate with banners to identify and develop high potential senior talent.
    • Design and track leadership development interventions.
    • Track succession planning for senior leadership, providing reports for shareholders.
  • Engagement
    • Lead the Group-wide engagement strategy, including overseeing the annual opinion survey.
    • Work with banners to develop strategic action plans aligned with their people and business strategies.
    • Drive engagement initiatives and action planning within the Group.
    • Develop engagement capabilities and report on engagement status to senior executives.
  • Business Partnering
    • Act as a strategic advisor to Group Senior Leadership on talent, performance, recruitment, succession, learning, and organizational design.
    • Maintain strong relationships with Business Partners across banners to ensure insight and best practices.
    • Lead internal communication efforts within the Group team.
    • Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, including challenging conversations and leading through ambiguity.
    • Apply expertise in talent management and engagement, developing trust and collaboration.
    • Provide leadership development and coaching, balancing daily operations with strategic planning.
