Job Introduction
If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, you might be the person we’re looking for! As a Stock Operative focusing on UK & International Despatch, you will ensure stock is accurately accounted for in the loading bay and store, facilitating efficient service to our customers. Your responsibilities include managing deliveries, keeping paperwork up-to-date, and resolving issues proactively. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure timely receipt and processing of deliveries, maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.
As a Stock Operative You Will
- Support organizing and prioritizing deliveries to ensure timely processing and delivery to the correct departments.
- Collaborate with B&M on RTW/RTVs, supporting the sales team in stock collection and dispatch preparation.
- Keep records updated for all stock movements.
- Maintain a clear loading dock and keep all back-of-house areas accessible and safe.
- Manage stock movements between locations.
- Support peak periods with forklift operation and machinery.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding deliveries and issues.
- Distribute deliveries to designated areas.
