This is a predominantly office-based role, with an expectation of 3–4 days per week in the office to support collaboration, project delivery, installations and stakeholder engagement across stores and sites.
Flexibility to support and manage overnight installations is required to ensure the successful delivery of window schemes and in-store activations.
Key Role Purpose
As Senior Producer, you will support the Project Manager – Windows and Brand in delivering window and in-store builds to the highest creative and production standards.
Through continual research into production methods, materials and technologies, you will help ensure Selfridges remains an industry leader in creative production.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management
- Work closely with the Project Manager – Windows and Brand and Design team to deliver window and in-store projects within budget and scope.
- Produce project briefs across windows, atriums, Dolly's Café and other activations for contractor tender.
- Coordinate project delivery, including budgets, timelines, supplier management and stakeholder communication throughout each project.
- Support the Project Manager in monitoring scheme and overhead budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on budget.
- Build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Coordinate suppliers and contractors throughout production and installation.
- Monitor build quality, resolving technical or production issues to ensure the highest standards are achieved.
- Coordinate installations with Security, Facilities and Lighting teams.
- Arrange site access and ensure all Health & Safety documentation and procedures are completed.
- Work to installation programmes, including out-of-hours support where required, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Research innovative production methods, materials and technologies to support creative development.
- Source and onboard new suppliers.
- Conduct supplier visits and quality control checks.
- Maintain awareness of cultural trends, exhibitions and competitor activity to inform production approaches.
- Standards & Maintenance
- Regularly inspect windows and installations, identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
- Ensure all installations remain safe, well maintained and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
- Respect and maintain tools, equipment and studio environments.
- Prepare supplier briefs and technical drawings.
- Communicate project costs, progress and risks to the Project Manager.
- Provide regular updates on project status, deadlines and workloads.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Support communication of material boards and project information to VM teams and regional stakeholders.
