  • Producing accurate red line plans, design guidelines and studies in Auto CAD
  • Maintaining and regularly updating space management plans and data for all Selfridges sites.
  • Providing CAD and planning support for feasibility and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise and conduct floor walks with retail managers and store operations at all stores to regularly update and produce accurate space allocation plans and spreadsheet floor reports using CADCAFM software.
  • Publish space allocation information to the business through maintenance of the appropriate Sharepoint locations.
  • Produce accurate and coordinated design guideline packages with plans, elevations and other details, to issue to brands.
  • Maintain and update CAD plans for all Selfridges sites by conducting site surveys on the shop floor and using as-built drawing information received from brands.
  • Produce feasibility plans for strategic projects, highlighting retail potential, M&E information, and retail versus stockroom square meterage.
  • Produce planning layouts for strategic projects, focusing on fixture layouts for potential brand mats.
  • Efficiently and accurately produce red line plans.
  • Host a weekly meeting with the project management team to update plans indicating timings for projects and to issue the plans to the wider business.
  • Maintain CAD standards and templates, and quality assured drawing production.
  • Support the design team and wider business by producing 3D models and visuals that communicate ideas and aid decision making.
  • Support the retail planning process with plans, studies, diagrams, photos when retail briefs are being updated to ensure the business and external partners clearly understand the requirements.
  • Respond to general CAD queries, to agreed SLA and communicating expected delivery time.
  • A bit about you
  • Expertise in Auto CAD is essential. Any CAFMCAD software experience would be beneficial.
  • Ensure the production of high-quality, accurate and coordinated CAD information.
  • Proficient in Photoshop, In Design, Sketchup, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat with excellent formatting skills for presentations.
  • IT literate with good Excel knowledge. Familiarity with Share Point and Monday. com is beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to regularly walk the floors of all stores to record space information and to conduct site surveys.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at different levels and from different parts of the business.

Good relationship management.

  • Excellent time management and workload management with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and deadlines is essential
