The Role

The purpose of this role is to drive and assist the SEO Site Manager with the day-to-day management and optimisation of the SEO channel. Working closely with the wider digital marketing team, you will be responsible for building and optimising our organic performance for a Frasers Group website.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make and implement recommendations to improve SEO channel performance and rankings
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, internal linking and other factors to improve SEO rankings for target keywords
  • Work with the content writer to drive SEO in content creation to optimise copy on category pages and landing pages, as well as to produce FAQ pages and buying guides
  • Use tools such as Botify and Screaming Frog to identify issues that can cause a negative impact in SERP. Perform in-depth technical SEO audits of websites as well as rectifying any issues
  • Use tools like PI-datametrics and SEMRush for insights and highlight opportunities to improve performance
  • Assist with link building strategies and perform backlink link audits

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in an SEO-focused role (in-house or agency)
  • Experience with keyword research and strategy, daily optimisation, and in-depth analysis
  • Ability to confidently report on key performance metrics to managers
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and respond to high priority requests
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects
  • Genuine passion for SEO and online marketing
  • Experience with content marketing and social campaigns
  • Continuously and proactively improves the quality of service delivered
