Role Overview
We are looking for an SEO Content Executive to plan, create and optimise content that improves organic search performance and drives qualified traffic. This role suits a proactive, analytical content specialist with hands‑on SEO experience who can work closely with managers, account teams and content creators to deliver measurable improvements in visibility, engagement and conversions. This is a remote‑first role with occasional in‑person meetings in London.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content strategies aligned to SEO objectives, audience needs and commercial goals
- Produce high‑quality on‑page content (blog posts, category pages, product descriptions, guides) optimised for search and user intent
- Conduct keyword research and map keywords to content opportunities using recognised tools and data
- Optimise existing site content and meta data to improve relevance, click‑through rates and rankings
- Collaborate with SEO specialists, designers and developers to implement technical and UX‑driven content improvements
- Create briefs for freelance writers and internal stakeholders, ensuring tone of voice, SEO requirements and measurement criteria are clear
- Monitor content performance using analytics and search‑console data; produce regular reports and recommend iterative tests
- Support link‑building and outreach initiatives by producing shareable, evidence‑led content and assets
- Maintain content calendars and ensure timely delivery against project milestones
- Stay up to date with search engine algorithm changes, industry trends and content best practice
Essential Knowledge and Experience
- 1-3 years’ experience producing SEO‑led content within an agency, in‑house marketing team or content‑focused role
- Practical knowledge of keyword research, on‑page optimisation and content structuring for SEO
- Strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio of published work demonstrating clarity, accuracy and commercial awareness
- Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush) and comfortable working with data
- Attention to detail, excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple briefs simultaneously
- Good interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams
- A results‑focused mindset with the ability to translate insights into practical content actions

- Experience with e‑commerce content and category/product SEO
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) and basic HTML
