Dr Sharon Belmo Dermatology is a Harley street based private dermatology clinic led by Dr Sharon Belmo, an experienced consultant dermatologist. The clinic is the first of its kind in the UK, specialising in skin of colour, Black skin and hair loss, particularly Afro-textured hair.
Dr Belmo is a medical dermatologist, highly regarded in her field, and practices evidence-based medicine to a high standard in this beautiful boutique clinic, which is rapidly growing. We are currently seeking an aesthetic nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant to join the team and deliver exceptional care to our patients. The nurse will work both independently and alongside Dr Belmo, who will provide insight and training on skin of colour and hair loss/hair loss treatments. We are looking for a dedicated, professional and experienced individual who believes in the ethos of Dr Sharon Belmo Dermatology.
Key Responsibilities –
- Perform chemical peels
- Perform microneedling
- Peform Hydrafacial (Keravive)
- Perform Tricopat for hair loss – Training by Dr Sharon Belmo
- Provide skincare advice and personalised treatment plans.
- Assist Dr Belmo extensively in clinic
- Assist Dr Belmo during minor operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Provide post-treatment care instructions and follow-up with patients
- Stay updated on the latest aesthetic trends and technologies
Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin.
- Proven experience in aesthetic nursing
- Strong communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Passion for aesthetics and skin care.
- Providing excellent patient care to a high standard.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Experience in treating diverse skin types is desirable
- Theatre experience is desirable
- Self-employed
