We are looking for personal assistant to help a 11 year old boy enjoy social outings and routine. Our client enjoys swimming, going out to the park and playing with his night garden toys.
As our client has a learning disability, non-verbal, ASD as well as requiring assistance with managing his emotions. Routine and a calm approach will benefit you in this role. He is a friending boy who loves to show you is programs and holding your hand. His weighted blanket and reassurance help to manage his triggers.
We would ask that you write a small paragraph about yourself which will allow the family to gain a better idea of why you would like to have this post.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having experience within this area would be of benefit.
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) where you will be asked to provide a copy of your certificate to your new Employer for their records.
