The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
12 Hours Per Week Flexible - 2 evenings during the week, and Saturday - Times to be confirmed – More available during School Holidays.
We are looking for a personal assistant for our client who is a happy and lively 9-year-old boy. You will be supporting our client to enjoy his time outside of school during the week and weekends. Our client enjoys swimming, music, going on the trampoline as well as days out. The perfect PA for our client would be able to think of other activities and new experiences for our client.
Our client is non-verbal but has begun communicating with PECS. Our client also has epilepsy, so having experience in this area would also be of benefit. Our client has little sense of danger and can be very quick, so someone who is observant and has a good level of fitness would be ideal for this role. Having experience with children with complex needs would be of benefit.
Duties within this role include personal care, assisting with daily medication and possibly seizure care. Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be patient and understanding, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work.
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
