Your hours of work will be 4 hours per week to be worked flexibly in agreement with the Employer in advance. Happy to discuss flexibility on days etc.
There is also an opportunity to attend Raith Rover games on a Saturday as well with the carers pass.
We are looking for a personal assistant to help a 13-year-old male who is looking for a companion to do activities with. He enjoys attending groups, events and going out but will need someone with a compassionate approach to mirror behaviours. The relationship may take some time to build as he has additional sensory needs especially around communication and processing. Would benefit from help with social cues, being in busy places and someone building relationship to where you know his triggers and how to support him with these.
Setting achievable goals and repeatedly trying to accomplish these alongside him, no matter how long this takes using a caring attitude and understanding approach will him to help him face his sensory boundaries in an overstimulating world. Our client uses a communication device and is building on his vocabulary.
