We’re on the lookout for a friendly, upbeat, and reliable Personal Assistant to support a lady living with ME and long covid. If you’re someone who brings positivity into a room, you’ll fit right in!
The role includes light personal care, helping with medication, some household tasks, and offering a bit of company and encouragement when getting out into the community on days she feels up to it. You’d also lend a hand with occasional admin tasks and accompany her to local hospital and GP appointments.
A driving licence is essential, as she’d love someone who can take her on short, gentle drives when her health allows. Moving and handling training would be ideal, but don’t worry if you don’t have it — training can be arranged.
We’re looking for someone caring, reliable, and flexible, with a good sense of humour and a positive outlook. Experience in care is helpful but not essential — the right attitude matters most. There’s also a very friendly family dog who’s always up for a cuddle, so dog lovers are especially welcome!
As our client has long covid, wearing a mask during work is essential to help keep her safe and well and avoid the spread of germs.
Key Responsibilities- Light personal care
- Assisting with light household duties
- Administering medication
- Supporting community access
