The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Hours: 36 hours per Month – Two-week shift Rota (Week one Thursday 6 hours, Week two Thursday 6 hours, Saturday 6 hours)

Role: We are looking for a personal assistant to be a companion for a 76-year-old male. This gentleman has suffered a stroke on the right side of his body, and this has also impacted his speech. We are looking for someone to keep this gentleman company as well as active as he enjoys writing, drawing, dominos and drives etc. Our client would benefit from a worker who has experience in the care field and who has worked with stroke patients.

Applicants must have:

  • A caring attitude

  • Reliability with a positive and flexible approach to work

Minimal personal care may be needed to assist if issues arise when out or if short staffed.

This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provision of minimal personal care
  • Accompaniment to activities, outings etc.
  • Social activity assistance
  • Provision of companionship
  • Assisting with light domestic duties
