Shift Maintenance Engineers x3 Days & Nights rotation - 06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00 4 on, 4 off. Selexa Group Ltd are partnered with a leading food & manufacturing client in the search for x3 Shift Engineers to support a robust and high-output Maintenance function. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and machinery repair, ensuring full regulatory compliance, working in a small team to minimise downtime and optimise performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • C&G and/or similar Engineering Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 5 years ideally production maintenance experience within a Maintenance or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering equipment, especially process, production, packing and filling lines
  • Knowledge of PLC systems, automation and control circuits/systems
  • Ideally food manufacturing and production experience

Key Activities

  • Perform routine maintenance activity, ensuring task completion and safety guidelines adhered to
  • Support equipment such as mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps and shaft drives
  • Support complex breakdowns and technical issues, providing advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and decision-making
  • Ensure planned Engineering activities are delivered appropriately and on time
  • Liaise with production & engineering management to communicate shift performance, issues and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of maintenance activities and shift handovers
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring seamless integration and best practices are followed
  • Drive compliance within industry standards and H&S pertinence
