- Sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities, records attendance, takes reservations, accepts payment, and notifies participants of changes. Answers customer questions about trips, tours, events, and rentals.
- May operate a motor vehicle to transport equipment, supplies, and passengers for scheduled activities.
- Assists with trips, tours, and events by preparing equipment, tools, accessories, and area to be used.
- Assists with taking inventory of recreation equipment and supplies.
- Assists with the implementation of group activities where more than one staff member is required.

Requirements Conditions of Employment
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This position requires a valid state driver\’s license upon appointment and obtains a USAFE driving permit within 30 days of appointment.
- This position requires a satisfactory completion of pre-employment physical.
- This position is designated as a Drug Testing Position. Subject to an initial drug test and random drug testing thereafter.

- The area of consideration for this vacancy announcement is citizens, permanent residents, and legal residents of the United States (US) who reside within the local commuting area (60 mile radius) of RAF Alconbury, United Kingdom (UK), or will do so within the next 30 days. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience (MUST BE SUPPORTED IN YOUR RESUME)
Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures is desired. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities is desirable; however, no experience is required.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.

- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
- All Federal NAF employees are required by PL 104-134 to have salary payments made by electronic funds transfer/direct deposit.
- Probationary period may be required.
