We are seeking a Temporary Full-Time Mobile Patrol Officer to carry out security patrols across multiple sites. The role will primarily support the Yeovil Tesco site, with additional duties at various locations in Taunton, Exeter (at least once per week), and other sites within the area once full training has been completed.
Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days per week, 8.5 hours per day including a 30-minute unpaid break)
Start Date: Preferably before Christmas
Weekend Work: Occasional weekend cover (every other Saturday/Sunday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mobile security patrols across assigned sites.
- Ensure the safety and security of client premises.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and security-related issues as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely written reports.
- Provide weekend cover on a rotational basis.
- Ticket vehicles parked in the wrong area.
Requirements:
- Must have access to your own vehicle for work purposes, with valid MOT, insurance, and roadworthiness.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations across Yeovil, Taunton, Exeter, and the wider region.
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner.
- Availability to start before Christmas (preferred).
- Flexibility to work occasional weekend shifts.
Pay & Expenses: Business mileage will be covered.
