The role
You’ll help to advance critical scientific communication by planning, delivery, and quality of our website and other systems. Responsible for delivery to the highest standards driving optimization and development of our products to ensure all features are utilized to their full benefit, are aligned to client needs, and deliver maximum quality and value in comparison to competitors.
It is envisaged that this is a full-time hybrid-working role with some attendance at the Bath office. This role reports to the lead developer.
Snapshot of the role:
- Participating in stand-up meetings when appropriate and project planning sessions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions.
- Writing, testing, and deploying software solutions.
- Participating in sprint reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
- Staying current with the latest technology trends and advancements.
- Providing technical support to team members and resolving technical issues.
Skills and Experience:
- Passion for collaboration and teamwork, with excellent communication skills
- Expertise in next.js, react,.js,typescript and c#.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude skills.
- Hands on experience working with Azure.
- Good understanding of REST API and microservices concepts and Azure functions
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing requirements.
- Good time management and prioritization skills.
