Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 7 Radiographer to join our expanding diagnostic imaging team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality imaging services while mentoring junior staff and helping shape the future of our radiology department.
As a senior member of the team, you will take on supervisory and clinical responsibilities across a range of modalities, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-focused imaging services. You\'ll work closely with radiologists, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely and accurate diagnostics.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver advanced radiographic services (e.g. CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, general X-ray, mobile/theatre work)
Support daily workflow coordination and modality-based service management
Supervise and mentor junior radiographers, assistant practitioners, and students
Ensure compliance with IR(ME)R and IRR legislation and departmental safety standards
Lead and participate in audits, quality assurance initiatives, and service improvement projects
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless imaging experience for patients
Contribute to training programmes, in-service education, and continued professional development (CPD)
