Role Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 7 Radiographer to join our expanding diagnostic imaging team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality imaging services while mentoring junior staff and helping shape the future of our radiology department. As a senior member of the team, you will take on supervisory and clinical responsibilities across a range of modalities, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-focused imaging services. You\’ll work closely with radiologists, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely and accurate diagnostics. Main Duties and Responsibilities * Deliver advanced radiographic services (e.g. CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, general X-ray, mobile/theatre work) * Support daily workflow coordination and modality-based service management * Supervise and mentor junior radiographers, assistant practitioners, and students * Ensure compliance with IR(ME)R and IRR legislation and departmental safety standards * Lead and participate in audits, quality assurance initiatives, and service improvement projects * Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless imaging experience for patients * Contribute to training programmes, in-service education, and continued professional development (CPD) Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
