We are seeking a dynamic Head of Projects to lead our Professional Services department and drive excellence across our project portfolio. This pivotal role offers the chance to shape the future of our organisation while fostering innovation and collaboration.

About Selected Interventions
Selected Interventions is a software and services company. We develop and deploy the unique class leading ECHO™ Service Management Framework. Echo is used by multi £bn+ turnover multi-national companies in the UK and globally. It operates and manages sophisticated field-based activities in environmental services.
Developed in house on a predominantly Microsoft stack and deployed via Azure (IaaS and PaaS) ECHO is a coherent suite of software products ranging from web applications and web services, APIs through to integrated desktop applications and smartphone/tablet apps – all designed and built to work together seamlessly. It enables our customers to provide world class services to their clients using their own unique methodology.

Role Overview
As the Head of Projects, you will:
- Lead and Oversee: Manage the Professional Services department, including Consultancy, Systems Analysts, and Data Analysts teams.
- Inspire and Develop: Provide guidance, resources, and support to team leads to ensure effective management and motivated teams.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee all departmental functions, ensuring high standards of project delivery and seamless operations.
- Collaborate: Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to align on strategy and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage departmental operations, including team meetings, HR processes, and resource planning.
- Oversee on-boarding, career development, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Facilitate team dynamics and support leads in managing their teams effectively.
- Maintain and improve inter-departmental processes and project delivery frameworks.
- Act as the escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support recruitment for the Professional Services department.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including tender processes.
- Managing the departments budgets
