We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our Professional Services Department. You will be the vital link between our unique product ECHO, and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features.

What would you be doing?
Your role will be to take responsibility for the delivery of ECHO based solutions to the varied businesses of our valued customers, leaders in environmental services. Working within our dedicated team and closely with our customers and other stakeholders, you will be required to analyse the business processes both within our customer contracts and out to their clients and then document, design and configure the ECHO product to meet and exceed those needs. Following a structured delivery methodology, to which you will have ongoing input, this is a hands-on role covering the full software lifecycle from requirements gathering, business process analysis, documentation, configuration, and testing through to go-live and post go-live support. You will be working closely with our agile development team, providing input into the future development of the ECHO product to meet new requirements and take opportunities to deliver competitive advantage. In addition to practical skills, you will be calling on and developing soft skills such as managing expectation and controlling project risk.
This is a fast moving, varied and challenging position in which you will have the freedom and scope to make a genuine and visible difference to the success of both our organisations through your project management, business analysis and technical skills.

What are we looking for?
In addition to excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you have, or a desire of gaining strong business analysis, and technical skills. You understand the value of key customer relationships and can develop them naturally. You are at ease communicating at all levels and are comfortable being an agent of change, and dealing with the issues that causes. Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and excellent organisational and time management skills are essential.
Experience and skills needed:
- At least degree level qualification or relevant experience
- Commercial IT project experience
- Track record of successful project support
- Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
- Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
- Solid experience in writing SQL queries
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
Any of the following would be an advantage:
- Experience with SQL
- Prince 2 Qualification
- Business Analysis Certification
- Experience or genuine interest in the waste or environmental services industries
