This is a strategic growth role focused on developing new B2B opportunities, building strong sector relationships, and delivering security solutions that prevent crime, protect assets, and reduce operational risk.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • New Business Development: Identify, target and secure new B2B clients across Retail, Construction, Telecoms and Utilities sectors. Develop and execute sector-specific sales strategies aligned to growth objectives. Generate and convert qualified opportunities through prospecting, networking and strategic outreach. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and close.
  • Consultative Security Solution Selling: Conduct structured discovery meetings to understand client risk profiles, asset exposure and operational challenges. Position Selectamark’s forensic marking, asset tracking and security solutions as measurable crime prevention and loss-reduction tools. Deliver tailored proposals, ROI cases and solution presentations to senior stakeholders. Confidently present to Risk and Security Managers, Security Directors, Operations Directors and C-suite decision makers.
  • Sector Relationship Building: Develop long-term relationships within key sectors including Retail, Construction, Telecoms and Utilities markets. Attend industry events, trade shows and sector forums to build brand visibility. Act as a trusted advisor on asset protection, theft prevention and security risk mitigation.
  • Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management: Own and manage a structured sales pipeline with clear forecasting discipline. Meet and exceed agreed revenue and margin targets. Maintain accurate CRM records and performance reporting. Collaborate with Marketing and Technical teams to optimise lead conversion and solution design.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategic Input: Provide insight on competitor activity, emerging risks and sector trends. Contribute to product positioning and go-to-market strategies. Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing commercial accounts.

Who You Are

  • Security Sector Experience (Essential): You have demonstrable experience selling security products, technologies or solutions into B2B markets.
  • Proven B2B Closer: Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in complex commercial environments.
  • Sector Knowledge: Experience working with or selling into Retail, Construction, Telecoms or Utilities sectors.
  • Commercially Astute: Strong negotiation, pricing and contract management skills.
  • Consultative Seller: You understand risk, compliance and operational drivers within enterprise environments.
  • Self-Motivated & Driven: Highly proactive, resilient and comfortable operating in a performance-driven environment.
