Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target and secure new B2B clients across Retail, Construction, Telecoms and Utilities sectors.
  • Develop and execute sector-specific sales strategies aligned to growth objectives.
  • Generate and convert qualified opportunities through prospecting, networking and strategic outreach.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and close.
  • Conduct structured discovery meetings to understand client risk profiles, asset exposure and operational challenges.
  • Position Selectamark’s forensic marking, asset tracking and security solutions as measurable crime prevention and loss-reduction tools.
  • Confidently present to Risk and Security Managers, Security Directors, Operations Directors and C-suite decision makers.
  • Develop long-term relationships within key sectors including Retail, Construction, Telecoms and Utilities markets.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows and sector forums to build brand visibility.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on asset protection, theft prevention and security risk mitigation.
  • Own and manage a structured sales pipeline with clear forecasting discipline.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and performance reporting.
  • Provide insight on competitor activity, emerging risks and sector trends.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing commercial accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in complex commercial environments.
  • Experience working with or selling into Retail, Construction, Telecoms or Utilities sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, pricing and contract management skills.
  • Understanding of risk, compliance and operational drivers within enterprise environments.
  • Highly proactive, resilient and comfortable operating in a performance-driven environment.

Competitive Base Salary: £37,500 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
