The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
We are hiring a Regional Trainer to join our team to ensure our Service Technicians are trained on the machines they are asked to attend, improve our first time fix rate, and deliver a higher level of service to our customers. In this role you will play a key part in working with our Area Technical Managers to identify the knowledge gaps within the field teams, and then devise and execute a deliverable plan to fill those gaps.
Your Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with your regional Area Technical Managers to identify knowledge gaps within the field Service Technicians.
- Align a deliverable training plan based on the knowledge gaps, to upskill Service Technicians as required.
- Track all training activities in a central folder so progress can be reviewed by Regional Managers.
- Work with ATMs to ensure ST’s are carrying the correct parts to drive FTF performance across the region.
- Maintain training matrix’s, populate refresher training and ensure compliance with legal/ H&S requirements.
- Carry out field-based audits- inspect repairs and quality of work completed at customer sites and administer retraining as identified.
- Be self-led to maintain industry relevant knowledge/ experience and attend training as required in line with dynamic business changes.
- Work with third parties and suppliers as required to tailor training sessions to suit the needs of the Selecta Service Technicians.
- Ensure Service Technicians are confident and comfortable to work on the entire Selecta asset base.
- Work with the Regional Area Technical Managers when Service Technicians need field based support, and assist them as required.
- Be able to react to customer feedback when training gaps are identified and form a workable plan to retrain Service Technicians as required.
- Drive departmental first time fix through effective Service Technician training.
- Be available to travel around the Selecta estate to deliver training as required with occasional overnight stays required.
Qualifications:
- Strong practical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to handle equipment confidently and safely.
- Previous experience in a training environment preferred but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence and comfortable with regional travel.
- Good organisational and time-management skills to support efficient training planning.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills with a professional and positive attitude.
